About Me

Ed Culpepper is a native to Hampton Roads, Virginia. He grew up in Tidewater, both in Portsmouth and Chesapeake for 20 years where he attended Western Branch High School and has lived in Norfolk for the last 35. Currently his home is located in the historic district of Lafayette-Winona. Ed has been selling houses for over 15 years and has successfully closed over 300 real estate transactions from Old Towne  to the North End  and from Smithfield to Ghent. To his credit he has been helping people make their dreams come true his entire professional life.

Prior to being a Realtor Ed was a jeweler, engraver and goldsmith for 25 years. He worked with individuals to craft pieces of jewelry meant to last a lifetime. He takes the same care when working with his clients who are buying or selling their property. Ed has a deep appreciation for clients who are buying a house. They are not just making a business transaction; they are purchasing a home where they will raise their families and make memories with those they love. Likewise, for his clients selling real estate, he values that they are entrusting him with the memories that they have created in their home. It is Ed’s commitment to homebuyers and sellers that have kept them coming back to him and referring friends and relatives. Ed values the trust that they have put in him, and he works diligently to make sure all of their needs are met. This level of professionalism has earned him membership to the prestigious Hampton Roads Realtors Association, Circle of Excellence, William E. Wood President Club and the Howard Hanna's WEW Realty Alliance Sales Award. Other accomplishments are many Sales/Listing Agent of the Month  and Winners Circle recognitions. Thankfully his biggest achievement is that of being a cancer survivor. He has a true understanding of the hardships and struggles of others and helps find solutions to support the new directions that it may take them in.

Having owned and restored multiple historic homes gives him a particular passion when it comes to buying and selling older homes. With experience in every corner of the five city Tidewater area, including Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Portsmouth, Chesapeake and Norfolk, he will draw from his 35 years of customer service,  apply those skills and continue making dreams come true.

If you’re looking to buy or sell a home Ed can make it happen.
